Meet Ed

Ed has been in the fitness industry since 1984, helping people from all walks of life achieve better health and reach their fitness goals.  He began his journey at the age of 18 in what some may call the fitness capitol of the world, San Diego, California.

His 12 years of experience in physical therapy and the medical field gives him the unique advantage of being able to properly guide those with injuries or those in poor health to a safe and more active lifestyle.  Ed has been able to use his passion for health and fitness to benefit so many through the years:
  • helping people avoid surgeries by strengthening their weak areas
  • recover from surgery through targeted exercise at the proper time
  • manage Type II Diabetes through specific nutrition
  • reclaim an active life after suffering from long-term injury and/or illness
Having competed in the world of bodybuilding to the point of attaining Pro status, Ed also understands the unique needs of competitors.  He has helped many others reach their goal of competing and turning Pro.  Key to this success is Ed’s extensive knowledge of how food affects the body.  Food does not simply satisfy the appetite for the moment, but each food performs a specific function in the body.  Ed has learned how to make your body work for you and his long list of success stories testifies to that.

Ed’s ability to combine nutrition with training, while addressing common health concerns has allowed him to be of help to hundreds of people through the years.  From the novice to the professional athlete, Ed’s knowledge, patience and up-beat personality are key to his many, many success stories.
