I am 54 years old , in the last 2 years I have fractured my back in 2 places and last summer dislocated my foot/ankle, broke my leg in 2 places, broke my ankle and foot. My situation was a challenge that I could not just remedy on my own with working out on my own. I was physically unable to do many things let alone walk independently for a period of time, having back to back ankle surgeries. This is when I turned to Ed White who's been a long time friend. Ed's background in physical therapy, education in fitness and nutrition and experience as a trainer to competitive bodybuilders is what i knew I needed. I personally watched Ed transform himself from a local gym owner/trainer to a competitive WBFF Pro including the countless athletes he has trained that compete, he is simply the best.
Ed educates me on proper nutrition, the importance of eating at certain times and on a schedule with my custom meal plan. My meal plan is not cookie cutter like others some may offer. Ed goes beyond the average trainer, listens to what life is like for me, what stresses me, sleep habits, work schedule, and is always a phone call away. When I received my first meal plan I was certain I would gain weight and my first reaction was "is he crazy, I can hardly move and all this food will make me fat and I'll never eat it all ", Ed repeatedly told me "trust me". I had faith and made myself follow his instructions. When I had questions or struggles He gets back to me right away. Since Ed moved from California we had to accomplish this by phone and train when he comes to town. He has helped me in so many ways including finding a good sports minded surgeon, physical therapist and getting me connected with resources in town for my supplements.
I lost 20 pounds in 3 months without cardio or being physically able to do certain workouts that I may of done if not so injured. I lost this body fat the healthy way, I've never eaten so much food before but what I was doing prior was running approximately 100 miles per month training for marathons and hardly eating. My body was starving and storing fat.
Ed is a wealth of knowledge and support. I cant thank him enough for his guidance helping me maintain a healthier way of living.

Following Ed White's meal plan and exercise/training program I became physically and mentally stronger, stress was reduced, medical issue resolved and I became a much happier and confident person. I also went from a size 12 to an 8! Ed's extensive knowledge of, and passion for health and fitness is evident when helping clients become healthy and fit. He truly has his client's best interest at heart, always encouraging and motivating. I was privileged to have him as a personal trainer for 9 years. - Judy Smith
I assure you that Ed is absolutely the best trainer in my eyes. He has experience in physical therapy and has extensive training in nutrition and professional body building. Whether you are looking to bulk up or slim down, trying to improve your health or your strength, Ed has the background and commitment to help you succeed. - Mike Davis (read more from Mr. Davis here)
Thank you Ed White, for the life change. Your training, diet and nutrition plan completely changed my life. I am so grateful for your wisdom and a plan that works. Thank you for your support and belief. I am entering the second half of my life with a body, mind and renewed spirit, that I never thought possible. - Alexis Asbe
March 8, 2014 was the day I made a commitment to myself to make a change. I was tired of being overweight, waking up every morning with back hurting, feeling fat and out of shape and generally feeling bad about myself. So, March 8, 2014 that change began, and that day I met Ed White. Ed was there for me every single day. Ed was committed to me because he knew I wanted that change. As I reflect back on what I was able to accomplish, the changes I went through both physically and mentally, I know in my heart it started with the guidance of Ed White. His knowledge in nutrition, his knowledge in the gym, and most importantly the confidence he had pushed me to be who I am today. - Kevin Greene (read more of Mr. Greene's experience here)

Ed - I wanted to take the time to thank you for all the help and support you have afforded me for the past 8 months. For the last 10 years I have been struggling with various health issues. I can't tell you how many doctors I have seen to diagnose the nerve damage in my feet. None of them had any clue as to the cause, which was very disappointing. Just by a stroke of good fortune, I got a recommendation from a friend of mine to set up a meeting with you. I didn't really know what to expect, but I was looking for help. Our first meeting was enlightening, mostly because you took the time to listen to me....Over the last 8 months I have dropped my blood sugar count from over 200 to below 100. May AIC is now within limits. In addition, my blood sugar is completely under control and my cholesterol levels are at the lowest they have ever been. As a bonus, I have lost over 70 pounds and can see myself becoming more active each day. Thank you for taking the time to show me the way to a longer life.

Prior to training with Ed "I was not sleeping, was 60 lbs overweight, every joint was painful, and was always tired. Now we have stress if we don't go for exercise/training. I am physically stronger/healthier than I was at age 16! With no second thoughts I recommend Ed. He will make sure you reach your goals and keep you physically fit for years to come. Health maintenance is a lifetime battle! Stick with Ed, you will win the battle of your goals and keep at it for life, not for a few days/months. I am a medical doctor. We go through lots of reading about how each muscle/joint works (1 1/2 years of reading 7 hours a day). And with this you gain knowledge of how you develop muscle or fix these joints/muscles, or make a diagnosis when something goes wrong. Since I worked/trained with Ed, I noticed that he has a thorough knowledge of these muscles/joints. He uses proper techniques/proper weights/proper posture. This leads to less injury and to building muscles bilaterally, not one side bigger or smaller than the other. Ed has knowledge, plus the experience of 30 odd years. There is NO substitute for experience, and the eyes don't see what the mind doesn't know - Ed has both! One last IMPORTANT thing about Ed is he understands your energy level/mental status/physical capacity and tailors sessions accordingly. This asset comes only with people skills and experience. AMEN!

I was hoping to increase, even slightly, the range of motion in my injured left shoulder, and along the way pick up some tips on how to deal with the pain. I wanted to put on some muscle weight and do cardio. I was looking for discipline and consistence in a safe (injury free) environment. I had been denied health insurance. I was underweight (I weighed a little over 90 lbs). I lost my balance easily. I had searing shooting pains in my left shoulder following an injury over a year earlier. My range of motion had become so limited I had trouble doing everyday things like stretching, getting dressed, lifting groceries, walking the dog, making a turn while driving or turning on my side to sleep. Since training with Ed my results have been beyond my wildest dreams! I did gain muscle weight and, at 53 years old, I feel stronger than I ever have in my life. I regained complete range of motion in my shoulder and have absolutely no pain. I still remember the day I could lift a curling iron to my hair and my viola to my chin! My balance is much better. I now have the highest rating of health insurance, with the bonus of lower premiums and enormous peace of mind. I recommend Ed most emphatically! From day one I have felt that I could push myself to the limit without risk of (re)injury. As soon as I followed Ed's directions, including nutrition, the pain lessened and my range of motion gradually increased. I discovered that a small amount of time working with Ed translates to a huge pay off in terms of health of mind and body. The benefits extend to my husband and our sons.

I was due to attend the California Highway Patrol Academy in West Sacrament. I was advised to report to the Academy physically fit. I contacted Ed so that I might be competitive in the physical fitness portion at the Academy. Prior to contacting Ed, my physical fitness, stress level and health was average, at best. Those levels made a 180 degree turn around after training with Ed. I finished in the top 10% of my Academy class. I was #2 out of approximately 160 cadets in the physical fitness portion of the academy. A retired Army Ranger was the only cadet who finished ahead of me in the physical fitness. I never sustained an injury or became sick during my academy stay. I would not recommend anyone but Ed!

I wasn't looking for a trainer at the time I met Ed, however, after we talked I knew I needed a personal trainer in order to set and achieve some goals. I had recently had a baby. I was overweight and didn't do much of anything. I was dieting with no results - because I was doing it all wrong! My health was okay, but like I said, activity was nothing. When I started I weighed 235 lbs. I currently fluctuate between 190-195! I didn't think weight lifting was for me. I didn't think you could lose weight that way. Since I started, my whole demeanor has changed. The way I carry myself, the way I feel. I don't mind looking in the mirror at myself. I would never have been able to keep going with my routine if it hadn't been for Ed. Working out is FUN! (most of the time). I love the feeling of complete exhaustion knowing its from pushing myself to the limit!
